Coach Judo Coach Course Rockhampton March 6th 2021

A Coach Judo Coach course was held at the Rockhampton PCYC on the Saturday 6/3/2021.

This Coach Judo course, was a milestone for Judo Qld as it was first CAF course for 2021 organised under the new structure in Central Qld, all of the Coach Judo course participants were actively involved in discussion about various points raised during the theory session, the practical session was a pleasure to watch as the participants demonstrated their individual skills during the Games, Nage waza and Katame waza sessions.

There was some very interesting debate and open discussion during the IJF Referees update session, I’m sure that everyone has a better understanding of the new rules.   

A huge thank you to Jeff McDougall {Kurabu Judo club} for the use of the Rockhampton PCYC facilities and also to Roslyn McDougall for providing morning tea and lunch.

I would personally like to thank the members of Gin Gin Judo club and Ju-No Kwai Judo club Gladstone for travelling to Rockhampton to attend the Coach Judo course.
