Coach Judo Course wrap-up March 7th 2020

The first CAF Coach Judo Course for 2020 was held at Pine Rivers PCYC on the 7/3/2020, nine coaches from various clubs throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast and Lismore attended, the attending coaches demonstrated a great depth of knowledge and experience during the Theory and Practical Judo sessions. It was extremely pleasing as a facilitator to see the social interaction and banter between coaches during the various sessions this theme was carried throughout the entire course.
The practical judo session included conducting a training area Risk Assessment followed by coaches demonstrating judo games/drills for children and adults and then technical demonstrations of Nage Waza and Katame waza.
Lorivaldo Jr from the JQ Referees Commission gave a vary informative session on the latest IJF Refereeing Rules.
A great day was had by all.
