Congratulations to the 2025 Development Squad

Hard work pays off as Judo Australia announces selections for the 2025 Development Squads.

With the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games now less than eight years away, the development of current junior and cadet athletes is essential to work towards medal performances at the home Olympic Games. The Development Squad offers competition opportunities and additional coaching to develop young Australian judoka into international competitors.

Designed for identified talent not yet categorised or categorised Emerging, the program is funded by the Australian Sports Commission through WinWell, and our athlete families.

We'd like to congratulate all of the athletes selected for 2025 and make special mention to the athletes from Queensland on the teams.
