Covid Up-dated Qld Closes it's boarder to Melbourne

Dear Sport and Recreation Industry Colleagues,

There has been further updated measures announced from the Queensland Government today with Queensland closing its borders to Greater Melbourne for two weeks from tonight as a result of the evolving situation in Victoria.

From 1am AEST Saturday 13 February, anyone who enters Queensland and has been in any of the 36 local government areas declared hotspots in Greater Melbourne since 9 February will be directed to quarantine in government-arranged accommodation for 14 days.

 

The border pass requirement from 1am AEST 13 February 2021 remains, with anyone entering Queensland who has been anywhere in Victoria required to apply for a border pass before entering Queensland.

It is understood the Queensland border measures will be reviewed in 14 days.
