AGM Outcomes
More than half the states clubs met by proxy or zoom on Sunday 8 November for the AGM
Lifelong contributions of Karl Michaelis and Zel Goldman were recognised through election to Life Membership.
Xavier Barker (Cairns Judo Club) was elected to the Management Committee (Board) for the first time and Zel Goldman (University of Queensland Club), Carl Conran (Shogun Hills Club) and Michael Griffin (Brisbane Judo Club) were re-elected.
Paul Nelson (Brisbane Judo Club) was elected to the Judo Australia Board in October and that role precludes him a role with Judo Queensland.
Following the AGM, the new board met and elected Paul De Brincat from the Innisfail Judo Club as the new Chair of the Judo Queensland Board.
Jerome Wahl (MTG Corinda Club) was appointed for the interim vacancy left by Paul Nelson's resignation.
