Lucca Distefano Scolarships Foundation 14-19 Years $10,000

Dear Judo Community.

I am pleased to announce that there will be over $10,000 worth of grants available to all current Judo members across Australia between the ages of 14-19 years. 

My name is Diane DiStefano and my son Lucca was a member of iJudo Club and the Victoria State team who sadly lost his life in June  this year. He loved the sport of Judo, the people in it and what Judo gave him. To assist us in remembering him and continuing his story, our family has created the "Lucca DiStefano Scholarship Foundation" to help current and future youth.

The aim is to provide and assist youth in gaining more opportunities regardless of their competition ability with over $10,000 annually and expand our involvement to create these Connection Scholarships. 

We will be announcing more details of these scholarships and how to apply for them at the official launch this Wednesday 11 November at 7pm which will be livestreamed and would have been Luccas 19th birthday. LIVE STREAMING FOR THIS: -  https://vimeo.com/event/444003

The grants will provide opportunities to attend competitions throughout Australia  financially and with Judo uniforms with the help from Australian Judo Suit suppliers and more.  The process is via a written application answering questions including the Judo Moral Code.
